I worked on-and-off on this project for longer than I care to admit. I actually started it 3 times and re-drew the whole thing twice. Then when I had the final product in cmyk, I spent a week working out colour separations to make it a 2 colour Risograph. Which is what I'd always wanted it to be. It was beautifully printed by Duplikat Press.

Juice Bar is a change in perspectives. As the character undergoes a peaceful, solitary moment that revitalises him, this short narrative is designed to take the viewer by surprise and give them a moment outside of their daily routine. It's about looking, listening and tasting what's around you. Living in the moment, and witnessing life from a different angle just for 10 minutes.
