A young silver wyrmling that was found as an egg in the lair of the evil frostmaiden. He hatched while under the care of Seeker and Calcryx shortly after they had made a home near the tower. A fast growing dragon who sits head and shoulders above the two-tailed tabaxi currently.
Durandel is extremely attached to Seeker and Calcryx, looking up to them in many ways. Of the two wyrmlings, he is more orderly and stoic, trying to stay out of trouble. Though the only times he breaks this demeanor is when persuaded by Calcryx to join him in some mischief or having a chance to tease Seeker around his brothers or master by using similar language to the tabaxi.
Despite his attempt at stoicism, he gets very affectionate with Seeker, often nuzzling him or carrying him to places if he sees the tabaxi heading off somewhere. Durandel gets extremely aggressive if he sees anyone picking on Seeker or any strangers approaching him, often growling loudly towards them. It takes a while for him to trust any new faces with the only ones who he immediately grew fond of, aside from Seeker and Calcryx, being Havoc, Boziik, Aether and Master Erendriel.
Along with Calcryx, Durandel has spoken to the master alone. Erendriel has requested if the wyrmling could help keep his youngest apprentice out of trouble which Durandel has happily agreed to. Anytime Seeker is about to pick a fight with someone or touch something he shouldn't, Durandel will sit on him, refusing to move until Seeker calms down then carrying him away happily.
Like other silver dragons, Durandel holds gifts from Seeker and the apprentices as his greatest treasures. The spectacles were once taken from Seeker as a prank but Seeker let him keep it telling him it was a gift from him and that it looks better on the dragon anyway which made Durandel elated (the spectacles use fake lenses as Seeker only used it to make himself look more mature). Durandel also carries a compass around his neck which was another gift from Seeker.
Whenever Seeker is out on assignment, Durandel will often feel grumpy and melancholic. He will often ask Calcryx to pass messages off to Seeker to check in on him.
