Dusan Voslov
Dusan Voslov was born at the end of the 19th Century in Russia, growing up during the turbulent times of the last Tsar, as well as the revolution that turned his country on it's heel. He grew up to fight in the Russian Army, in both World Wars, firstly for the Tsar in WWI until the Revolution.. and then under the Soviet Union in WW2. After both wars, he continued his service with the USSR in the KGB, seeking to identify and thwart any threat to Russia and it's people.
He is a workaholic, a careful analyst, always trying to keep a cool head to achieve things and get things done. Life's pleasures passed him by, all sacrificed for the servitude of his country, of his people. While his combat skills were put to the test in the two World Wars, it was his intelligence work in the KGB that had really developed in his life.
He is one of the longer lived Atomites that is actually documented from a birth certificate to time of death. The Soviet Union no doubt had questions about him, how he can stay so youthful, so agile, at the age he reached. Had he lived any longer, who knows what might have happened to him. He never understood why either, until he died.
Dusan was killed at the front door of his house, but not by either the USSR or the American CIA. Instead he was killed for his Atomite DNA, used by Zeus Ethinger to create the abomination known as Atlas, the man who would become the father of another Atomite... Bowen Chuuno. It is in a technical sense that Dusan Voslov is Bowen's grandfather.. and some people speculate Bowen's intelligence and operative skills were inherited from Dusan.
Despite all this, he is also an Atomite that did not live to achieve anything on a multiversal scale, due to the circumstances he was placed. He worked tirelessly for Russia, even if he had reservations both about the Tsar and the Soviet Union. He was diligent in his work, for the people, to ensure that they would forever live in peace, despite the conditions they lived under.
Dusan Voslov is a stern man, who does not normally speak much unless required to. Even in death, he is always concentrating on something, maybe even gathering intelligence on other matters, who knows? Normally does not have time for any conversation, always on the move. He especially does not have time for incompetence, one of the banes of his existence.. something which brings out quite the temper, especially when such incompetence is on a grand scale. Despite how he feels about others, he always strives to ensure that all his work, is without fault.
