30. What is their preferred level of activity and stimulation? How do they cope if they get either too little or too much?

Kayn requires stimulation at all times. He prefers physical stimulation, often twisting his hands around the grip on Rhaast, or rubbing his fingers against the tips of the rope belts on his skirting. Kayn especially likes to run his hands through his own hair, and marvel at how long and nice it feels ( mainly because he was forced to cut it all as a child soldier in Noxus ). If not physical stimulation, he finds himself longing for noise, white noise, harsh noise, anything will do for him. If he is unable to find natural noise, he knows he can agitate Rhaast easily enough to keep himself entertained, as Rhaast does like to bicker with him.

katarina  sits  atop  the  balustrade  with  one  leg  dangling,  much  the  way  she  was  told  not  to  when  she  was  young:  below  them,  noxus  prime  hums  with  life,  growing  denser  as  it  descends,  where  the  markets  become  the  slums  and  the  slums  bleed  out  into  the  liminal  no - mans  land.  she  wonders  vaguely  what  it  must  be  like  to  view  the  glorious  city  through  fresh  eyes,  and  yet  in  the  same  vein,  katarina  finds  she  can’t  care  enough  to  ask.

the  old  order  was  good  for  the  old.  that  must  be  why,  up  here,  where  the  rich  lay  their  claim,  it  was  almost  peaceful.

‘ and  when  the  new  order  comes  along,  i  suppose  it’ll  be  good  for  someone  else, ’  she  mutters.  ‘ it  doesn’t  matter.  it  isn’t  exactly  in  man’s  nature  to  stop  having  some  kind  of  agenda. ’  the  conversation  makes  her  antsy.  it  plants  what  feels  like  exhaustion  in  her  bones,  deep  where  she  can’t  reach  it,  and  she  diverts  her  gaze  from  the  city  skyline  and  swings  her  leg  back  over  the  balustrade  before  it  grows.  ‘ that’s enough  of  that.  my  family  has  a  library  that  you’ll  find  more  interesting. ’
