     she was quiet while she read in the lobby of the NOHR company, and barely did she look up when she heard someone call her name. she recognized the voice, of course ( how could she not ? ), and her voice had an apparent tinge of annoyance to it.

     “ good afternoon, iago. is my father in--? or, as how you address him -- is daddy available ? ” so what if all the nohr children knew iago would never call their father DADDY ( uh, at least they think ), that wouldn’t stop them from teasing him. a single article from the media, and suddenly, camilla would never stop.

Marx is a very solid person, both physically and in terms of fears, and there isn’t much that he finds particularly offputting (at least not openly)

he is definitely not a fan of the conniving that goes on within the Nohrian courts, preferring a more honest and straightforward method of dealing with people, and does have a quiet fear that some day he will fall prey to a scheme he never saw coming. it would be safe to say that any sort of casual deceit makes him distinctly uncomfortable }
