Okay, I'll start yelling about 168: 1. It's a trap!!! Star boy is still hiding something! Don't let him lull you with French snacks, Deku!!! This friendship thing seems kinda rushed imo. 2. People starting to form hero teams after All Might's retirement and due to the rise in criminal activities sounds like a logical development. I love it. I hope we will see the rise of one big Hero organization in the future.
BUT FRENCH SNACKS ARE DELICIOUS.
I agree with you to an extent, to be honest. Horikoshi doesn’t waste panels like that. That serious panel of Aoyama by the end probably does mean he’s not telling everything, assuming that any of what he’s saying is true at all. We do know that the quirkless theory went down the toilet though, which is not all that surprising. I was expecting something related with Izuku’s progress with his quirk and within the hero course since he started, Aoyama comparing himself with Izuku. That’s pretty much what we are seeing, I think, though this might end up in a darker note than what Horikoshi is leading on.
Personally, I don’t think is a lie, that he identifies himself with Midoriya. But maybe what he’s hiding is envy (and what he plans to do about it). It seems like Aoyama is doing some damage control and doing some misdirection. But that’s just a thought for now, with little to sustain it.
MIDORIYA IS SO PURE THOUGH, HE DIDN’T THINK BAD THINGS. Let’s all love that boi for a second omg.
Hell yeah, i was really interested by that wee information about forming pro-hero teams. This is probably not news and it happened before, but I agree with you that with the fall of All Might and the increase in crime we have been told is happening since, it makes sense that the teams become more common place. One big organization would be interesting, or at the very least affiliated agencies. I have a headcanon concerning pro-heroes teaming ups that I should share at some point.
Also I bet Mt. Lady and Kamui Woods shippers are having a blast right now.
