“Well first you dress in red, white and blue, like me!” she gestured to her attire, which consisted of shorts and an American flag shirt. “We can go to the beach and watch the fireworks, Elsa, the fireworks!”
Anna was practically shaking in excitement. All her life she had been deprived of spending any holidays with her sister, including their birthdays, so she was ecstatic about this. She looked into blue eyes hopefully, knowing that if she was rejected it would hurt — but in that case, she would just go and complain to Aster until he participated with her.
A little pout appeared on her face.
Fireworks. The very word caused a slight shudder. The prospect of the beach wasn't a particularly inviting on either. This whole ordeal sounded loud and busy and uncomfortable. But that look on her sister's face made her breath catch in her throat. Spending time with her sister was something she could only do so little of at a time. She loved Anna, and after years and years of being away from her it was nice talking to her again, but Anna's enthusiasm was exhausting, and frankly Elsa didn't always have the energy for it. But when she made that face, the pure joy followed by the begging pout, Elsa just couldn't resist. it was her Kryptonite "Well, alright. But only because you asked me so nicely."
