     The dead of night. That was when they were just Lilith and Angel. He lay in her arms, half asleep, his chin resting on her chest and looking up at her for all the world like she was the only thing in it. The backs of her fingers brushed sweetly against the fur of his cheek, humming softly as she lay with her legs to the side, his own curled up to make himself as cozy as he could. Her breathing matched his as he mumbled something on the verge of sleep.

     Her hearing caught it, and she smiled.

     Lili.

     Finally, after so long, he was comfortable enough to call her ‘Lili’. Slowly she tilted his chin up and gently she nuzzled her nose to his, kissing his lips just enough to encourage him to return it. And so he did, kissing her back as well as as a sleepy spider could. It was a short, but fulfilling kiss, and his chin returned to its place between her breasts and she continued to slide her fingers through his hair, now more content than she’d been in a while.

If there’s any show I stop to watch whenever I see it, it’s my childhood favorite: Ed Edd’n Eddy. I haven’t seen it on tv in ten years but it’s my all time go-to show to watch. Thank God for the internet!

I love lions, wolves and foxes (insert “one of these things is not like the other” jingle). Snakes are a close fourth!
