Idea for a "Dustrune" AU

Susie, instead of just letting Kris come with her to the closet, shoves them into their locker and goes on without them

When she enters the Dark World, she goes on through like normal, until Ralsei, confused there only the Monster of the legend showed up, and not the Human too, explains the Legend to her...

To which she just brushes off and goes straight to the Card Castle alone

There, she fights every enemy in her path, and the more she does, the more she gets enjoyment out of it. Even starting to lie to herself and saying it's all a dream, none of it is real, so she should have a little fun, right?

She destroys Puzzles that she can't solve or don't have enough party members to complete. She steals from shops, despite having enough money to buy it fairly. She just wants to have fun after all.

Eventually, Kris managed to get out of the locker in the Light World, and goes to the closet, where they fall in the Dark World. There, Ralsei explains everything and urges them to go find Susie. Kris complies, not that they have much of a choice.

Kris and Ralsei venture through an almost empty Field, Board and Forest. The few NPCs they find scared, thinking Kris will be just as brutal as 'The other Lightner'

When Kris and Ralsei reach the card castle, the battles are extra difficult, given the guards are on their a-game to protect the King

When they go to the basement, the cell is unlocked... and empty.

When they reach the top floor, Rouxls' hip shop and Lancer's rooms are locked. Someone on the Hip Shop with a funny accent urges someone else to stay quiet. Sounds like a little kid.

On top of the castle, the King is there, but knocked out cold.

And when they reach the Fountain...

Susie is there, ready to give this "Dream" a grand finale!

Okay I haven't posted in a while so here's updates

I paused development of Dustrune to focus on other projects, but after seeing how buggy some parts were I have come back

Although, there is another.

I joined a discord that was making an AU as well, and became the head dev in 10 seconds because no one else knew coding.
