Adventures in the Netherlands! I bought a tiny yellow book that will probably lead me through many naps. Feat. @dutch-polyglot !!!

July 19th: do you stay indoors or outdoors more in the summer?

Generally, Spain gets quite hot during the day, so I tend to stay indoors whenever I'm not at the pool. Nighttime is a whole other deal, we usually have dinner outside and then chill (as long as the mosquitoes aren't biting us to death). Germany is much cooler so I can go out much more often during the day hahahaha

July 20th: are you a 'summer person'?

Heck no. Heck heck no. I hate the heat, my blood pressure drops a lot and training becomes so much harder. It's not worth the study break.

Can you believe this is the first time I’m actually journaling in my bullet journal??

I did some more driving today, and it went really well! I drove on the highway for the first time it was a laugh.

That means I’ll soon be able to go flying again! Right now I can only go on the weekends which isn’t bad it’s just not ideal.

July 7th: What did you do during the summer when you were a young child?

Lots of time spent at the pool, with an au pair, my mom and my siblings, and then one week at the beach or camping in the mountains, usually. When I was a teen, I also started going to my uncle's house at the north of Spain, where we would go sailing for a week or so. And reading, so much reading.

July 8th: What’s your happiest summer memory from your childhood?

This is a hard one because I don't have many childhood memories, but I generally remember having an afternoon snack at the pool lawn, on a round towel where all my siblings and I sat with the food on the middle and shared the food after playing in the water.

My first day of actual notes! I had two classes today, “fundamentals of instruction” and “multi engine operations” and i swear I was the only one taking notes in both of these 😬😬

I used the muji gel pen in grey (don’t be fooled by the body I had an extra one so I just bought the grey refill to save a whole 50c (are you proud of me @stubborn-studies )) and the grey mid liner SAYLOR got me.

And I am positively obsessed. So thank you @stormy-rains 💜💜💜
