Hey, I'm new here. Like your blog, and have read it for a while now. But I just wanted to let you know that I live in The Netherlands near Eindhoven and I know that Thursday 25th May was the last day of filming in The Netherlands. I know many outside scenes were shot the past few weeks in The Netherlands, they are finished here now. All equipment is gone, base camp dismantled. I was an extra on the last filming day in Eindhoven.
On Friday 26th they were filming in Mechelen, Belgium, the arrest of a British actor. I read the book. Only one character gets arrested and that is Sam's character. I see in the booking website they just added another day of filming on 30th May, near Antwerp.
Happy Duck film production starts a new project Tuesday 6th June in Belgium (Professor T for BBC) so I think next week might be the last week.
Anyway, I don't have a question, just some local trivia for you from what I know and can see in the websites where they are calling for extra’s.
Bye and thank you for all that you share!
Hi and welcome to my blog! Thanks so much for the info. I knew they were filming until May 30th. But then I had also heard there were some call sheets for filming in July. But the July call was for a child.
So from what you're saying it seems like the scenes involving Sam are probably over end of May? That makes sense since he's got all the Outlander Season 7 promo and premiere happening in early and mid June.
Please feel free to let me know anything else, and you can also DM me info. Again, welkom! I visited the Netherlands when I was younger on a family trip throughout Europe, and absolutely loved it. We went to Amsterdam, of course, and some of the surrounding areas. Bedankt!
