Happy Birthday to Vincent van Gogh who was born on this day in 1853. Vincent wrote hundreds of letters to his younger brother, Theo, who was an art dealer and provided both financial and emotional support to Vincent. Their friendship lasted until the last breath Vincent took. Theo was there right by his side when Vincent died on early morning of July 29th, two days after Vincent shot himself in the chest. He was only 37 years old, but created over 2,000 artworks in his short life.
