Sailing Under the Fremont Bridge.
I went to a coffee shop (If it could so be called) to study and got ganked on seating. I also got ganked with my double espresso which was gross and my croissant that was stale. I walked to the spot between the G.W. Memorial bridge and the Fremont Bridge In hopes of finding a chill spot to crunch some numbers. Fool am I to think there was ever a good place to sit on a computer. I miss the pre-covid coffee shop experience. Remember when Starbucks had free itunes music downloads?
I forgot I needed the internet to study, Or I should say, I forgot that the internet doesn't exist outside. A place I've rarely been if not for school and days like today. I have reached out to some homies in an effort to get out again; I miss skateboarding and I miss the park. My wheels miss Columbia Ave.
No internet, Bad Espresso, Good time to yo-yo. I worked out this trick I wanted to do with a responsive. I started working on it before I left for France and a profound experience involving a DV888 led me to this in full. I feel like a lot of people cast shade at this yo-yo but with the right touch it really shines. As soon as you take your focus off of it your knuckle will pop with a string stretching thud! This dense little angel really flys and its slim C midwall string gap needs a watchful eye. It's all candy and cupcakes throwing sleepers at the bus stop but it's a skirmish as soon as you breakaway.
