☾ and☽, Wide Open Rocking (also, if it isn't asking too much: ∞, if there is anything, because personally this is one of my all time favorite baseball RPF series and I just want to knowing everything about it!)

How I thought people would respond to the fic:
Since I'd only been writing Buster/Tim until that point, I thought most readers would be put off by or at least uninterested in stories with a different pairing, but maybe a couple people would be into the more down n' dirty dynamic between Jake and Tim.
How people actually responded to the fic:
I think about as I expected? But I was happily surprised by the fact that the people who did like it really seemed to like it a lot.
Something I wish I'd done differently:
It's pretty standard for me now when I'm writing a series that the first story is a shorter standalone (because I didn't intend to write a series), the second story is better, longer, and explores things more deeply, and then the third story is too long, takes me a while to write, and gets away from me a bit (I think of this as the "Order of the Phoenix" problem). So I wish the third story had gone easier and been better/shorter, especially since it kind of wiped me out and I got stalled on writing the fourth and final story.
