this isn’t a game – why can’t you separate it from reality?
with only a light shrug of his shoulders, he doesn’t really plan on giving a more proper reply to the other’s question and just keeps clearing the rest of his belongings from the desk, so he can finally get out of this stuffy classroom.
baekhyun is not even sure why youngjae approached him so randomly in the first place; okay, he knows that he wasn’t quite nice to this one guy from the other’s class, who also happens to be one of his friends, but still—the guy, what was his name again?, should come over himself if he wants to lecture baekhyun.
trying to stuff one of his notebooks into his bag, baekhyun has to keep himself from rolling his eyes; this situation is annoying him a lot.
“it is a game, though, for me”, he says then, because youngjae probably won’t leave him alone without getting at least some kind of answer.
but baekhyun manages to finally force his usual smile onto his lips. “you all try to be so serious all the time. but trust me, you don’t want to experience how uncomfortable i would get if i’d act more serious”, he tells him, lightly patting youngjae’s cheek. “so, be more happy that you’re able to just play games with me.”
and then, baekhyun grabs his things and slips gently past him and out of the room.
