The self-proclaimed doctor inquired of his headless counterpart, settling down beside her on the couch with a fresh, warm cup of coffee in hand. He’d always been curious in nature, and regarding the gap between the scientific and the supernatural, he was never short on questions -- particularly for an entity as otherworldly and unique as herself.
❝ – I’ve heard that the stone ones are actually just battalion remnants from a war that took place there in Ireland, but I know that certain strains of mushrooms grow in circles like that too. Legend says that if you stray too close to one, evil beings called changelings will grab you and drag you back to the fairy world, while they stay and take your place in the real world!
I guess what I’m asking is -- do they really have a supernatural element to them, or is it just hogwash? ❞
