" What was she like.... Miss cecilia -."
Edan fidgets as she plays with the fire in her hands, much like how she's seen her aeon move the stars in the palm of her hand. She took a slow deep breath before looking at Mithra as the fire faded as she allowed her connection to the destruction and harmony to disconnect.
" When she was younger, I mean.... I read her notes about her first visit here and most of it was matter of fact at first... "
She had decided to come up and talk with the great mage though it was less about lessons and more about learning. It wasn't often she got to ask what people thought about her aeon that genuinely knew her before she was well .....the akivili the current trialblaze knew her as.
"....though there was this one entry about her brother making a bet with you-"
Mithra huffed, a bit confused at both the question and how to answer. The old hermit watched as the smoke from Cecilia's daughter's hands drifted towards him, contemplating his reply. Musing, he willed the smoke over his palm in a sphere, absorbing the heat and leaving it a cold, compressed molecular cloud.
He winced notably at the mention of an old bet with that boy, Aether. The little shit's grin was forever etched into memory at the embarrassing display he'd been made to put on. Mithra remembered still finding glitter on him for a whole week after. It did give him something to work off of, though.
"She's not all that different, all things considered. Reckless. Impulsive. Nosy and a busybody. It makes sense how she ended up with a following. She's got that kind of determination that makes you want to protect her. If you don't, you just know next time you look at her, she'll end up in some deep shit. As the muscle of our group, I ended up having to finish a bunch of stuff she started," Mithra admitted, handing over The Astra to the young girl, almost Cecilia's double, physically. "The only difference is she's not as loud or climbing all over everything, anymore."
"This sword was a part of her, the first semblance of her divinity I ever got to see. I've held it with me since the time she inhabited it and bestowed it to me. Maybe if you touch it with your power of 'Remembrance', you'll get to feel her for yourself. Probably better than the ramblings of an old crotchety fool."
Hopefully this was enough to distract the young woman who seemed so alike and so different from Cici at the same time.
