"i’m sorry, did i dirty your knife when you stuck it in my back?"
plastering the sweetest and purest smile he has in store onto his face, baekhyun leans back in his chair to shift into a more comfortable position, loosely crossing his arms in front of his chest.
for a moment, he thinks about whether he should feign innocence or if he should be ‘honest’ about this; at least, as honest as baekhyun can be, because the situation is already crystal clear to both of them— they both know what baekhyun did to her and there’s no real use in trying to talk much around it, right?
“i don’t know why you’re even using that tone with me”, he says mockingly, clicking his tongue in fake-disappointment, “wasn’t it your own fault for trusting me in the first place?”
and then, baekhyun just watches her, waiting for an answer in silent expectation, because he’s right, isn’t he? it was her own fault for thinking that she could trust baekhyun, that she could trust a villain.
