DWC day 21 Frighten
With her mom’s hand in her own, Lily almost felt brave enough to walk through the mirror house. It had taken a lot of work to even get her mother to agree to go. She even had to fake take a nap and clean her room!
As the pair stepped onto the gated railing, air blew up from the floor and sent their hair flying. A giggle erupted from Lily, that she didn’t even notice her mom’s pale look. “After this I want to get a giant pumpkin and a slushie!” The five-year-old stated.
Her mother replied with some kind of yes. Good enough for her! Excited to see more of the mirrors Lily let go of her mom’s hand and took off full speed into the mirror house. Mom was just slowing her down.
There was so much to see! One mirror made her look wide, another green like a goblin, the third gave her a giant eyeball and no nose. Faster and faster she ran through the mirrors not even hearing the panicked frightened calls of her mother.
A silly clown jumped out at her and Lily yelled a boo back at him. She even reached up to honk his nose. BEST NIGHT EVER!
Before the clown could get her to wait for the mother, the five-year-old took off again toward the room with many colorful lights.
If she stood the right way, there seem to be over 50 reflections of herself. A little diva that was she, Lily stopped to make a funny face. A little hair flip and giggled was given.
“LILLIAN RAVENMOURN” The sound of her mother's voice was full of fear and worry. The little girl caught the reflection of her mother in the mirror. The mother looked as white as a ghost.
“Mooooom, I am right here” Lily replied with a sigh. Old people were never fun.
