this part of the movie is from the bit set in the 2050s. theyre strapped to the bed which is what puts them in the simulation of the 1950s. jack is the one who put her there because he wanted a housewife and hes a misogynistic incel with fucked ideologies and views on how women are basically inferior to men. the victory project is a simulation for these men where its more socially acceptable in the 1950s for women to be housewives and men are the providers. alice has bruises all up her arms which clearly indicates that jack has abused her in the current time (2050s and outside of the simulation). shes forced into this simulation and isn't aware of her surroundings as well as unconscious meaning she cant consent so all the sex that happens in the 1950s is non consensual and therefore rape. people who have seen the screenings also said that alice in the 1950s doesnt explicitly consent to anything that happens making it rape inside and outside of the simulation. olivia has promoted and advertised this movie as 'female pleasure' what is pleasurable about physical abuse, manipulation, gaslighting, sexual assault and rape? jack also kinda pressures alice into having a baby with him, as far as i know they never end up getting pregnant but if that did happen then it would be forced conception (aka rape). and theres nothing pleasurable about any of these things and the fact that some fans and clearly olivia are romanticising a relationship like this invalidates victims of SA, its vile and so dangerous.
