With the power it's outputting, at levels comparable to the Wii U, a more apt comparison would be to the likes of the Sega Nomad, a portable Sega Genesis that ran on 6 AA batteries and lasted about 2-3 hours.
that’s before lithium ion batteries were common, and the nomad was waaaay ahead of its time, I think the psp would be a more fair comparison (came out during the ps2 gen and had nearly the same power), and that had a 6.5 hour battery life
