Sixth: Paige VanZant

Season: 22

Partner: Mark

Place: 2nd

The runner-up of season 22. Paige was definitely one of the best of her season and could have won as well. Her jive is now one of the most memorable jives to date, and it was included as one of the dances to be recreated in season 25. She will no doubt prove to still be a strong competitor a second time around.

Ninth: Nyle DiMarco

Season: 22

Partner: Peta

Place: 1st

Nyle was definitely an amazing contestant. I love that he wasn’t defined by being deaf, but he proved to be a great dancer overall. Not being able to hear only adds to his skills and abilities as a dancer. He also has a great and likable personality so I think he’d be a great choice for an all-star.

Tenth: Ally Brooke

Season: 28

Partner: Sasha

Place: 3rd

I chose Ally because I think she needs a chance to clear her reputation amongst fans of the show. I feel like her journey and progress on the show was overlooked due to the controversy surrounding her. She went from being an average contestant to a front-runner. Being a fan of hers, I know she’s a very sweet person and I don’t think the show showcased her properly as we didn’t get to know her personally too well. I also love that she did a couple of dances to pay homage to her latin roots, which were also overlooked. I think being an all-star would be a great opportunity for her to show what she can do, as she would only get better.

For the pairings for my all-stars fancast, I’m keeping these couples the same. I don’t see any reason to break up any of these partnerships and none of these pros have multiple partners chosen to be an all-star.

Next for the all-star pairings, I put James Hinchcliffe with Jenna and Josh Norman staying with Sharna. I think Josh and Sharna need a second chance at the mirrorball together, as they could have easily won the athletes season after the freestyle round. 

I put James and Jenna together because they already danced together when Jenna filled in for Sharna for two weeks that season. Their waltz was great and is one of the most iconic Halloween dances.

Season: 28

Partner: Emma

Place: 5th

I chose James because he should have won season 28, or come ins 2nd at the very least. His exit from the show was terrible, and I would love for him to have a second chance. Would he do it again, I’m not sure, but I am sure he would do awesome.

Twelfth: Nastia Liukin

Season: 20

Partner: Derek

Place: 4th

Nastia was a stand out from her season and could have made the finals. I know she has spoken out saying that she did not like how the show portrayed her to be, so I would love for her to get a chance to correct that. Her athletic ability took her far in the show and she is a pretty underrated contestant. She showed her capability when as well when Sasha had to fill in for Derek for two weeks. I think overall, she would do well a second time on the show.
