I’ll post all of my thoughts about this season’s cast of DWTS tomorrow (even though no one asked) but one particular opinion needs its own post, again, even though no one asked 😜:
No matter how good of a dancer she ends up being, everyone needs to be more realistic about Lauren Jauregui’s chances.
I see so many people wanting Lauren to break the “Fifth Harmony 3rd Place Curse” I feel the need to remind everyone just how many shenanigans the producers pulled just to get both Normani and Ally Brooke into the Finals on their respective seasons
Each season the producers went out of their way to sacrifice another (and more deserving imo) contestant in order to save the Fifth Harmony Girls from elimination. (The treatment of Simone Biles on this show and James Van Der Beek’s elimination are both my Roman Empire)
Normani basically got to do freestyles (contemporary and jazz) the two weeks leading up to the Finale for easy high scores and Ally got saved by the judges not once, not twice, but three times!
And finally, Normani was partnered with Val, the most coddled pro in DWTS history, and Ally was partnered with Sasha, who for some reason was employed by this show wayyyy longer then he should have been for reasons I still do not know
Does anyone really think they will help Brandon in any way? He had the best dancer in the competition last season and they very blatantly still treated him and his partner like shit.
Anything is possible and I am rooting and will be voting for them, but y’all need to prepare yourselves for the inevitable throwing of this team to the wolves in favor of Alix Earle or Hilaria Baldwin
