He had been throwing hard combinations at the heavy bag, the Romanian's attention purely on punishing the surface in front of him. That was, until he heard someone. Brow arched upwards, turning to look at the voice, He didn't know it. And when he looked at who it belonged to, Andrei found them unfamiliar. However, the compliment was missed. His brow still arched up, a smirk tugging at his lips joined it as head tilted slightly while fully facing her. "Only kinda?" He questions, voice deep and accented. "But, thank you." Large arms move to cross over his broad chest. "How did you get in here?" An added question, smirk falling just slightly as he waited for her answer. It wasn't everyday someone he didn't know snuck in and just popped out a rather direct and to the point compliment.

It was a peculiar thing to say to another person -- untoward, in fact -- and had he not been out late at night in the middle of the woods, with only the glowing moon and a tinder box to guide him, then Ben might have laughed. Only, no...he couldn't. Not when he presumed this woman to be a harlot.

"Forgive me, madam, but I am not interested," he firmly said. "If you are in need of money, then perhaps I can spare you a few shillings."

Despite the reasonable offer, a shiver lanced up his spine. There was something strange about her eyes, ethereal, and yet oddly, Ben did not feel afraid.

"I..." Clearing his throat, he lowly managed, "I would like to pass, please. I have business in town that cannot be delayed."

They  look  around  to  make  sure  she  wasn't  asking  anyone  else  then  pointing  to  themselves  they  go  to  answer  ❝  Me?  I  -  I'm  a  yellow  pi-❞  They  are  hoisted  into  the  air  by  their  arms.  

All  of  a  sudden  they  are  flipped  upside  down,  holding  them  there.  ❝  W-woah!  The  ground  is  in  the  sky.  ...Please  do  not  have  done  that.  ❞  They  didn't  wriggle  only  dangled  limply.

While he didn't recognize her exactly as a FRIEND, he definitely had a hard time ignoring FOOD. He couldn't help the way he perked up at the sound of the can opening, his ears forward and curious gaze watching her intently as he got up from where he was lying.

His tail shot up straight in a show of friendliness as he trotted over, letting out a few meows and circling the floor by her feet as she placed the dish down.

Of course, he started to eat the meal with enthusiasm, wasting no time putting his face into the dish.

His GRATEFULNESS was apparent at the moment, but it would certainly make him a returning customer.
