Since Buffy the Vampire Slayer is so fundamentally rooted in the live-action show, I like to think of the characters with, well, human faces. So I went and looked for some faceclaims for the comic-exclusive characters.

Bayarmaa: Dichen Lachman

Renee: Jasika Nicole

Leah: Rose Leslie

Satsu: Aya Ueto

Anaheed: Summer Bishil

Billy Lane: Booboo Stewart

Dylan Turner: Jasmin Marsters

Robert Dowling: Colin Donnell

Both Bay and Dylan are actually based off of Dichen and Jasmin respectively, so that’s something I appreciated.For all else, it was a wild hunt for me. And yes, that is an old picture of Booboo - but consider this, the comics take place circa 2008/2009 and I wanted to faceclaim in a manner that the actors’ age fits the show/comic timeline.

Here’s a ship that kind of came out of nowhere and with zero foundation: Robert Dowling/Dylan Turner.

The foundation being they’re Spike’s only non-Scoobie-friends and I’d like Spuffy to have a normal couple to hang out with. I am in love with the Dowling/Spike bromance, I adore that Dylan’s moved to San Francisco now and that she isn’t a romantic rival but a friend.

I’d love for Spike to introduce the two to each other and for them to hit it off.
