Dan is sooo the type to act like taking Liezel out for sweets is the biggest inconvenience in the world meanwhile he’s the one dragging her into cafés because “you’ve barely eaten today.”
like he’s naturally mean/sassy with everyone else 😭 constantly judging, making slick comments, acting unimpressed—but with her it’s sooo obvious there’s a soft spot even if he tries to hide it
he’d be sitting there all:
“you cannot survive off iced coffee and vibes, sweetheart.”
while already pushing a plate toward her because he ordered her favorite cake without asking 💀
and he’d absolutely bully her a little while feeding her too 😭
“open your mouth.”
“you’re dramatic.”
“finish the strawberries at least.”
ALL while looking at her like she hung the stars in the sky
also the fact that he remembers every tiny thing she likes?? terrifying.
one offhand comment about a dessert she liked three months ago and suddenly he’s bringing it to her during study sessions acting like it’s “not a big deal”
and with everyone else he’s lowkey unbearable but around her he gets quieter, more patient
still sarcastic, still teasing—but softer in a way nobody else gets to see 😭
