Dynacat to overcome obstacles in a fast-paced game for Linux
Dynacat 3D action platformer game due to arrive with support for Linux with Windows PC. Which is the result of the work and creativity of developer Replayne Inc. Gearing up for its hardy release on Steam.
Replayne are revealing their 3D platforming video game project, code-named ProjectISO, has now been officially named Dynacat. But also confirmed for launch on Steam for both Linux and Windows PC. The Steam store page is already available. So expect more information about other platforms coming in the future.
Dynacat is a fast-paced 3D action platformer with an isometric point of view. The main objective is to speed through stages making use of platforms, springs, and other elements to overcome obstacles. "We enjoy the excitement of a game where your skill is rewarded with non-stop motion and wanted to see more games like that." said Alexander, Replayne Inc. developer, explaining the motivation behind the project.
The Dynacat page is already available to add the game to your wishlist. On PC the game will be compatible with Windows 7 and up. The game also has confirmation on two popular Linux distributions, Ubuntu and Debian.
In Action Stages the main objective of Dynacat is to reach the goal by traversing an obstacle course. Since each action stage features has a variety of paths. Some are faster, some have secrets, and some will let you accomplish secondary objectives. Such as defeating a number of enemies or getting a certain amount of style points.
In Boss Stages you must defeat boss robots. Identify their weak points and skillfully traverse obstacles to reach them.
Unlock Special Stages by recovering enough crystals in an action stage. In these stages the goal is to collect a number of magic orbs while reaching the goal within a time limit. Complete all of the Dynacat special stages for a special reward!
The game has three difficulty modes:
On Normal difficulty, you can return to previously completed stages at any time.
In Easy mode, you can traverse stages without taking damage.
In Hard mode, stages are played in order. So losing all lives will send you back to the beginning of the game.
At the moment the Dynacat 3D action platformer Steam release date says 2022. According to developer Replayne Inc., "I would say our game will probably launch in the second half of the year." Which is of course, due to arrive on Linux and Windows PC. So be sure to Wishlist the game on Steam.
