Stative Verb and Dynamic Verb
STATIVE VERB
A stative verb expresses a state rather than an action. A stative verb typically relates to a state of being, a thought, or an emotion.
Examples of stative verbs:
love
hate
like
prefer
doubt
seem
know
own
understand
DYNAMIC VERB
In English grammar a "dynamic verb" means that the verb describes an action rather than a state. Dynamic verbs are sometimes known as "action verbs."
Examples of dynamic verbs:
eat
walk
learn
grow
sleep
talk
write
run
read
become
