Really a lovely version of one of my favorite Deserts Chang songs. =D

I think this is one of those end of the semester talent shows. I asked the uploader 陳中 who the performers are, if I get an answer I’ll update the post.  =)

Video uploader 陳中 goes to a lot of shows, you’ve seen MANY of his clips here at FYCI. But he also goes to student events, like this University talent show/awards show thing. Always impressed by how much young talent there is in TW. I have no idea if music is just a hobby or an aspiration for these peeps, but anyway, check out this singer. Huge voice, but she’s not oversinging like some wannabe idol show diva.   

Can anybody tell me her name?

LOL, the last time I asked after watching one of these clips, 陳中 just replied, ‘only a student’ or something like that.  Well, half the bands we post on here emerged from college music clubs, guitar clubs, etc. =D

陳中 dynamicbalancem went out to hear 小翼Wing (俞心嵐) busking in Taipei, and he uploaded a nice set. If I understood her fb posts, I think she had to change location because of rain, and then move again because the cops chased her from her second location. (??) Out of the 4 clips I've viewed so far, I've seen at least 3 locations, so maybe this is over more than 1 day. She actually had amplification and a proper space for people to gather in her original spot. Poor Wing, she still sounds great, even in the cold and rain. =D

There's also a new live set of Four Pens (四枝筆樂團) from Friday night at The WALL Live House. (woah, super-quick upload!) Very nice quality, from dynamicbalancem channel

Lots of video from the StreetVoice ParkPark Carnival popping up on YT now; this is Blues Bus樂團. I don't think we've ever featured them before, so this is a treat! =D This sextet only just formed late in 2013, they have a cool, bluesy, groove-rock going on. When I get some time (and back on my own computer, LOL) I'll try and find out if any of these peeps are members of other bands. By the way, this YT account of dynamicbalancem is going to have a HUGE PILE of clips from this fest, by the time he's done uploading, and anyway, it's just another great channel for the TW indies!

FunkyBrothers 放客兄弟 from their Legacy Taipei show last night. 88balaz (八十八顆芭樂籽 88 Guava Seedz) also played. (I'm not sure who was the 'headline' act) The uploader has both bands' sets back at YT, very good quality!
