I tried to draw my Mc from @untitledrockstar-if Again and I liked this version a better.

I think Luka should look tired because he doesn't enjoy Roxxie lifestyle that much. He enjoy HER, the rest (drugs, loud parties, getting wasted, paparazzi) he started doing because he felt Roxxie wanted him to fo it. He took taste for some things (drugs, but funny enough he still hqtes alcohol because he thinks it tastes bad) but the rest he is still getting by. He frequently uses makeup to disguise the consequences of bad sleep because he is a very confident guy.

The rose and R.R is of course a homage for Roxxie. Of course not as obvious as HIS FUCKING FACE ON HER ARM (That he thought was batshit insane when she first showed it to him and a stupid decision) but anyone with 2 braincells knows is for her. And he definitely won't regret having that tattoo! Definitely not!

I think he will romance Roxxie (both "I stay" and the "break up" route) becsuse i am absolutely insane for her. But ???? Definitely is a close second, i HAVE to do the romance that will allow me to sing Tongues & Teeth.

Progress Update

First off, Happy Pride Month everyone!

After feedback from the testers (thanks guys!) seems like the index is working well and if there are bugs they're not the kind that make the game crash and burn.

Admittedly, they haven't read the whole thing because the chapter wasn't complete back when I sent them the private link (Mattea's spicy and romantic scenes were missing) so bugs may be ready to pounce at y'all but at least the index thing is in the clear.

Now, I just finished writing Chapter Two and editing is all that's left. For me that means making sure the stats are set as they should, adding emojis galore and that the current 44k words will probably increase because I often add things when I'm re-reading scenes. The point is I may be able to get the chapter out next weekend.

I have exams to prepare and papers to write so it all depends on how much time I have to spend on that which is, of course, my priority. This is also why asks have not been answered recently but I'll get to them as soon as the looming threat of academic failure has passed LOL

In any case, Chapter Two will be released this month for sure!

You worked a tireless job, the monotony of everyday life, and your only saving grace is an otome game. The one and only, The Saint Hearts Academy: Find True Love.

It was your typical otome game, but it was considered one of the best at the time due to its unique voice acting, character designs, intense lore, and the fact that players could be of any sex or gender. It was quite surprising for a Japanese Otome Game, where usually there would be only one character of colour and suffer same-face syndrome.

Yet, you had your eyes set on one cast of characters.

The Hot DILFs.

As you head home, you are sadly struck by a truck. Then it all went to black.

When your eyes opened again, the first thing you noticed is that this wasn't your bedroom. Not to mention, is that a system screen in front of you?

❥ Set in a typical Medieval-ish Fantasy Otome Game, you are an ADULT(no, not 18 or 19. Not even 20, you are above 24).

❥ Play as a male, female, nonbinary, trans or cis. Choose up to three sets of pronouns, or input your own.

❥ Customise your appearance and develop your personality throughout the game.

❥ Romance or Befriend the DILFs. Make friends with the original Love Targets, get along with your schoolmates (or make enemies), and BEWARE OF THE HEROINE!

❥ Trust the system? Don't trust it? Careful what you do...

❥ +18 game, power/authority gap, and quite an age gap as well. As is mentioned, the characters are also DILFs. They are dads and do have children(either grown or still growing). Eldritch Horror elements as well.

Klyn al-Janiin - 54 years old

"The war took two of the dearest people from me. As long as I live, this will not happen again."

Headmaster al-Janiin is the man that everyone speaks of in awe. Born in the Al-Janubiya Empire, he ran away with his family to the Lartnes Kingdom. During the war against the Thing some years ago, Klyn stayed awake for three days constantly to make battle plans. After the war, he became a single father of 3 childen when his two wives died on the battlefield.

Personality: Protective, traumatised, tenacious, weary, soft-hearted for his grandchildren.

Dad Fact: al-Janiin has three daughters, 30, 29, and 28 years old. All three have grandchildren.

Cilian O'Ceallaigh - 31 years old

"Secrets can weigh the mind down. Tell me, what can I do to make your mind lighter?"

Master Librarian O'Caellaigh(or O'Kelly) is considered the therapist for all the students. With his gentle smile, soft eyes, and patient demeanour, students flock to him for comfort or to talk about their secrets. Cilian, however, had been the King's personal spy on the streets since the age of 6. As a beggar on the street, he learned about information and dirt on everyone. His gentle demeanour is a facade to hide his sharp intelligence. Yet, he made a mistake opening his heart. Now he is the father of a 12 year old that works as a helper in the library.

Personality: Intelligent, disarming, patient, hyper-perceptive, emotionally constipated.

Dad Fact: Cilian doesn't know how to show genuine emotions for his son, his face often defaulting into a gentle smile.

Astraxn Von Mhogheibav - 820(in human years, 36) years Old

"Forgive me, I was translating a 1st Century Demonic ritual. Ah, that reminds me that in 3 minutes, my eldest is bring me lunch, I can't promise I will have time to look over your essay."

Professor Mhogheibav(or just Professor Mog) is the type of academic who makes you wonder if he knows what the sun is and if food exists. He has intense eyes with deep bags under them, hands stained with ink, bandages around fingers from papercuts, and a sweeping black robe that reminds you of a certain Potions Professor in your previous world... Often mistaken for being weak, Astraxn is nowhere near that and is the lead researcher when it comes to demonic arts(as he is a demon himself)

Personality: Obsessed with his academics, easily distracted, mumbles to himself, constantly uses a planner and a clock to keep himself organised.

Dad Fact: He has eight children from his ex-wife(The Nrethron Empire's Empress, 51 years old). All eight range from the ages of 25, 23, 21, 19, 17, 15, 13, 11. Astraxn is a very present father, and his children love him. His wife is chill with him, just divorced him because she has an empire to rule.

Huzraull "Raul" Son of Throzvroniark - 42 years old

"Welcome to the fightin' arena, meat bags. Now, who wanna get thrown to the stars? No one? Y'all ain't fun."

Professor Huzraull is a half-orc, with his mother being a human and his other parent an orc. Raul has a noticeably more human-like appearance compared to orcs; however, his body and bone density are much stronger thanks to being an orc. Having fought in the war at a young age, seeing the Thing eat his parents' village and had almost assimilated into the Thing before being successfully pulled out of it by Amarii. After the war, he married his husband and had twins. The birthing process killed his husband, leaving Raul caring for the twins alone.

Appearance: Blonde hair(his mother), olive skin tone, rough appearance, beard with grey, broad and bulky build, scarred body, half of his face has his skin burned where the Thing started assimilating Raul, has slightly prominent lower canines. Personality: Resilient, boisterous, honest, loyal, overwhelmed by the twins, PTSD.

Dad Fact: He has two children, both twins. One son, one daughter. His children are both 14. He likes to feed people he cares about.

Zixuan Liú - 46 years old

"Explain to me why I should pay for your tuition fees? I do not spend coin on someone who will inevitably disappoint me."

Duke Liú is a major sponsor of the Academy, having studied there when he came from the Dongfang Empire. He became a Duke at the age of 16 via an arranged marriage with his now-dead husband. He struggles to hold much sympathy for his family back home, but he's more sympathetic to his uncle. By 19, his husband had mysteriously died and left behind the title, estate, and entire fortune to Liú.

Appearance: East Asian(Chinese) appearance, light tanned skin, smooth skin with a beauty mark under his eye, short black hair with a grey streak combed to the side, and a lean athletic frame. Personality: Calculating, guarded, overthinks, paranoid, quiet, secretly sentimental.

Dad Fact: Zixuan has one adopted daughter. The daughter is 3 years old and always follows him. Zixuan always listens to what his daughter thinks, trusting her judgement(sometimes).

Amarii - 69 years old, looks 48

"Oh, do not worry about those silly projects, dear. They're for the King a few weeks ago, but it isn't due in 5 hours."

Archmage Amarii, a child found in the woods and adopted by elves, had never been tested in his life when it came to magic until the war. Amarii was a front-liner during the war against the Thing, having sacrificed his left arm. After the war, he was stationed in the Lartnes Kingdom's Academy and married his two second-in-commands. His wife and husband keep him grounded and on task(most of the time), though Amarii is very lazy when it comes to even his simplest tasks; such as maintaining the barrier around the Academy, much to the annoyance of the Headmaster.

Appearance: Ebony Skin, long black hair(often styled thanks to his husband and wife), average height, lost his left hand, stubble on his face, and lean frame. Personality: Calm, unfazed, Chronic Procrastinator, academic, bored genius, thrill-seeker.

Dad Fact: Amarii has pets, a lot of them. He considers himself a feline/canine/reptile/amphibian/etcetera dad. He takes quite good care of them. Amarii is lazy, but not when it comes to his wife, husband, and pets.

The War

The Great War against the Thing happened 25 years ago. It lasted for 5 years, all kingdoms and empires around the world banding together in hopes of shutting away Thing. After many trials, damages, and losses, 18 archmages were able to seal the Thing and bury it deep in the earth. After, there were only 6 archmages left. 3 had died, and 9 broke their magical cores or ruined their bodies so that they couldn't use magic anymore.

Many kingdoms have lost people, money, and animals.

The Thing

The Thing is a human-appearing person with a smile too wide, eyes that shine with a blinding light, limbs too long, a torso too short, and a body with no skin. It grabs victims and assimilates them into its skin to feed. It did not speak, it simply ate and ate and ate.

No one was exempt from it, no creature.

Hello! This is my 2nd time playing (I love it so much) and it's been awhile but the beast mode password isn't working on the Deepal Challenge Match PT 2. Am I doing something wrong?

Hiya! Bit of a spoiler/narrative design musings under the cut :)

While the first Deepal challenge match was 'impossible to beat', signaling the MC's limitations not just in skill but also in settling into the team/new environment of playing in college. They hit a glass ceiling, so to speak, because they just didn't feel ready.

The second Deepal challenge match, however, actually makes all the choices about belief rather than actual technical skill. If you look closely, none of them are gate-kept by skill checks.

This mirrors the first challenge match and tests to see how far MC has come since then, in terms of truly believing in themselves and having that mental strength/fire/desire to be the best—that they deserve the No. 3 spot—without which, they will never beat someone of Deepal (or Tobin, or Rayyan)'s calibre.

TLDR: When it comes to beating Deepal, who's a gritty, endurance-based player, that it's actually less about skill and more about resolve and how much MC wants it. The beast mode activation is a bit of a red herring, as I want players to come to the realization at the end that if they won, it's because they believed in it, and if they lost, it's because they weren't ready/still had doubts they haven't fully overcome (or didn't actually want it enough).
