𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 takes you with him when he gets his ears pierced so you can hold his hand during it

not because he’s scared of the needles or the pain but because he feels like he needs an excuse to get affection from you

and while 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 tries his hardest to squeeze your hand just a little bit so you don’t figure out the truth you can pretty easily tell that he’s just pretending

sleeping with 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 is always an adventure, in the most innocent way possible

you never know if you’re going to wake up in the middle of the night from a knee burrowing itself into your side because he tried to starfish all over the bed in his sleep, forgetting you were there 

maybe there’ll be a leg next to your head because a sleeping 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 decided that laying the other way was more comfortable 

𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 and you have your own blankets but by morning he’ll either be on top of his blanket or under yours

sometimes he ends up on top of his blanket and then decides to steal yours because he’s cold.... try to get it back from him i dare you

he is not the biggest fan of falling asleep close together, too much contact distracts him and makes it harder for him to fall asleep

when 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 is had a hard day or wakes up in the middle of the night due to a nightmare he likes to hold your hand, the small gesture grounds him and makes him feel secure 

even if he’s not the biggest fan of cuddling to fall asleep 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 sometimes reaches out to you in his sleep and pulls you close to him or he’ll roll over until he’s using you as a pillow

he has a pretty good sleep schedule he tries to stick to but he doesn’t force you to follow it as well

if you want to stay up while 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 goes to bed he just asks you to be quiet and turn of the main light and just use a smaller lamp so that it’s dark enough for him to fall asleep and maybe not stay up until the morning on your phone or reading because sleep is important and he wants you well rested

sometimes when it gets late and you’re just sitting next to a sleeping 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 he rolls over until his head is pressed against your thigh and he makes small little noises and won’t stop until you run your fingers through his hair

in the rare cases you open your eyes in the morning and are greated by his weirdly angelic sleeping face on the pillow next to you it’s a nice little treat, perfect way to start the morning

because most of the time 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 looks like an absolute disaster in the morning

𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 is not the most touchy person in general so it might take a while for you to realize that he tends to stay away from specific kinds of physical contact

he's not opposed to cuddling, he even initiates it from time to time, opening up his arms while you're near -face carefully neutral, almost annoyed- silently signaling for you to step into his arms so that he can hold you

will tell you to fuck off while actively pulling you closer against his chest, careful as to not accidentally squish you with his strong arms, never holding on long enough for any stupid extras to comment on it though

when the two of you are walking together 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 will often put his arm around your shoulder

it’s very obvious that he also let's you get away with way more than anybody else

𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 might pretend to hate your attention but he secretly enjoys it 

not only letting you play with his hair but also subconsciously leaning closer -albeit with a scowl on his face- while you run your fingers through his spikes or playing with the hem of his shirt when you're next to him, giving your hands something to do to keep you busy 

but if there is one thing 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 absolutely hates it’s holding hands

he’s not against the idea of hand holding in theory since it’s a very subtle way of showing affection 

but due to training and his quirk his hands are really rough and always sweaty and he just thinks that holding his hand wouldn’t be a very enjoyable experience

no matter how hard he tries to convince himself that he doesn’t care about what others think of him at the end of the day 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 just doesn’t want you to think he’s gross 

and that reasoning doesn’t even include the potential danger of his quirk, he’s scared that he could lose control or that he can’t hold back and accidentally set of one of his explosions and hurt you

𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 and you both know that he’d never purposefully hurt you but he also just wants you to be safe, even if he has to keep you safe from his quirk, so you follow his lead and just hold onto his arm instead or seek contact in other ways

it’s not like his reluctance to hold your hand will ruin your relationship, after all there’s many ways to be affectionate and 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 is determined to show you just how much you mean to him

mornings with 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 are always quiet, muted and peaceful in a way not many people have the privilege to experience him

𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 treasures these tranquil mornings before everybody else wakes up and if you don’t disturb him he’ll allow you to share them with him until he leaves for his morning training
