Finally finished this huge Digimon piece a friend commissioned months back! I don't think I've ever drawn so many characters in a single piece, so it was a bit of a challenge to get everything composed but it was really fun and rewarding. :)

Dragon's Roar is bushido
the royal knights ✨
They're holding out for a hero till the end of the night~
At which point Dynas will pull them off the stage after a 10th encore.
Felt like drawing my blorbo Atlas again

Some RK stuff from Aurora
Most of the Knights that look like living armor or mechanical beings actually have biological components, unlike Digimon like Knightmon which are actually "empty" inside.
Duftmon, Dynasmon, Dukemon, Omegamon to name a few of them - under the armor are body parts, usually heads ( or part of ), torsos, parts of arms and spines, wings and tails that are melded with the armor. Some would argue that they could actually be considered cyborgs due to this, but none have any sort of life support or anything that could suggest how the living parts of them are still, well, alive, at least by human logic.
Some theorize ( or gossip ) that the remains of flesh and bone encased inside are the mangled bodies of their previous forms due to the drastic, unprecedented and potentially flawed evolution these Digimon underwent to be able to stand against the Demon Lords in the past.
