“Hooo...“ Upon arrival at the conflict’s site, there was little left for him to do except beholding its winner. Now he stood there, somewhat useless and staring at the graceful-appearing young woman in the middle of these decrepit buildings. Wondered what someone like that was doing in Sector 03 of all places, but before his sudden appearance may startle her he explained himself first. Hadn’t been the first time this week his rough looks had him confused for one of the good-for-nothings that terrorized this place here. “Thought you might’ve needed some help holdin’ off that Grenade--- mean that round-shaped monster. They can be real pests. But ya did not bad in givin’ it a wallop. Not bad at all. “

“have you been in this world long?” garcia hadn’t, but already, the man’s edginess about the bizarre world was wearing down, and he could take a breath, of sorts -- rittenhouse did not seem to be here, though that hardly meant much in the long run.

Oh what a crooked place for one of royal blood to be placed in. If all, it mocked the great jewel of the Lucis kingdom, Insomnia itself. “My... what a mess.” Singular hand lingered atop the more than tasteless fedora these mockers in white have oh so pleasantly gifted him with. Stripped of many abilities to doom the mortal world, it seemed that even Ifrit was caged to match. Limitations truly were a burden however, not something Ardyn was not all too familiar with. In the rural strange area he lingered, dawn alight the mocking city with false radiance he could so clearly see right through. He wondered if the folk here were just as... trivial. Ardyn had plans to get to, in his prime back ‘home,’ dare he with such a gal label that damned place his home, he had it in his clutches. Years of destruction, darkness, the chosen king still slumbered and the prophecy itself yet to be fulfilled. Yet... he found himself here.
“Oh this truly is unfortunate.” Tone of voice echoed his disgust. Though a man to always make do with what he was presented before him. His mind already raced with endless of plots to gain advantages. He is not a violent man, but he is a man who thinks before taking action --- that alone is to be feared by many. His lingering about took him nowhere as anticipated, but familiarity and knowledge was gained from the coordinates he allowed himself to traverse through. Attention snipped, to what he assumed to be, the dump of this city. Less than pleasant sights of men in groups, populi made haste to return to their homes, and every here and about fights broke out. Oh yes, this part of the city can be easily manipulated. In all of this garbage only one single female stood out from the masses. Be it not her appearance, Ardyn has gone through too many years to even be concerned by such things, but because her presence radiated and echoed royalty.
Ardyn knew a royal when he saw one, he was one for years, would be endeared to believe that he still was to this day. “This is no place for a lady of your caliber.” Initiation of small talk commenced. “More so of royal blood,” so was his justification. “Oh how rude of me to simply engage to you this way your highness. Allow me to introduce myself.” He played the role he has played for more than a thousand years.
“Ardyn Izunia,” he bowed whilst respectfully removing his fedora. “At your humble service.” Royalty in a place like this? What exactly is this place precisely? Once posture was straightened and fedora back in place he graced her with a small smile. “I am but a mere wanderer and faithful chancellor to a royal empire myself thus why your presence is very clear to me.” He attempted to reason though not the entire truth was fed, there was no linked deception within his words just yet. “Do allow me to drain a moment of your time, I swear it will do me much aide, but what exactly is this place?”

“So young...and yet, battle-hardened.” And an apparent noblewoman, at that. Dettlaff couldn’t help but comment, quiet as he was. “You carry a wooden blade with purpose. Have you seen much conflict?”
