It had taken a lot of hmming and huhhing and mulling over the absurd possibility of his body rusting away were he to stay submerged long enough in the rich chlorine mixed water. Sitting along the edge, feet finally dipped in the pool (after having peeled his socks off) he watches how the ringed waves spiral out from where he made contact only to dissipate several feet away. Nikkari moves to recreate the displacement of water when a shadow passes over from behind, uprooting his gaze and snapping it upright.
