headcanons.
6). their vices (physical or emotional). caffeine. it was probably one of the most awful things for him to get over during the initial outbreak. he had at least 3? cups a day for years and then you know ... hard to have a cup when there’s flesh-eating corpses wandering around, you know? he was a bit crankier than usual for that week, what with the headache. emotionally he’s fallen back into his dry sarcasm more than he did before. maybe it’s a crutch, but he thinks it’s been serving him pretty well, all things considered.
8). bad memories/experiences. he was in a car accident when he was 14, which left him a little worse for wear. that’s probably the first, and least concerning, of bad experiences. he’s had bad runs with work - unfortunate situations that did not turn out for the better ( death, etc ). and of course, the outbreak. specifically that his girlfriend was killed before him, but he’s done a decent job of handling that in his own way ( read, not publicly ). his apathy is well-noted, and likely not healthy.
