Kurt held his lunch tray with one hand and stuffed his iPhone into his back pocket with the other, hoping that the soup that the lunch attendant had placed precariously on his tray wouldn't slide off in the process. He was just in the middle of looking for an empty table where he could review Physics questions, when he spotted the familiar face of Blaine Anderson. His stomach did a familiar swoop and Kurt had a minute-long internal battle about whether or not he should walk over.
In the end his curiosity won and he stood behind Blaine with a grin on his face, "You're looking at your plate as if you hope the house elves in the kitchen below will send you pork chops," Kurt said a little more nervous than usual. "Are you sitting with anyone?" he asked.
