I've never heard such bullshit before. Another loaded promise laced in explosive fears invented to destroy every last wish, hope or dream the human mind bothered to conjure.
The sway of the tree tops lingered in the tunnels of his ears, a low swish of the wind brushing crumpled leaves across the ground. The sound of crackles below on the surface of the Earth had hairs standing on end.
A white creature stood still between the arch of two oak trees, hind legs curling claws into the surface of dirt and mush between flicks of his tail, the only reflection visible in the moonlight were his dark golden eyes, mimicking the colour of the sun.
That's complete bullshit.
The pale spectacle thought, his expression turning short of bared fangs and low grunts and snarls mixing in the starlight. His paws folding forward as he settled himself against the edge of the right oak bowling over to greet him.
I've heard more wisdom from the sound of the wind than I ever had listening to that naive thought process pecking at the back of my brain.
Another series of growls echoed through the night as the white wolf barged on through his adventurous argument, his hind legs scratching at the limbs of the tree below the surface, cursing every mortal being of the Earth until the world stopped for only a moment.
A shift in atmosphere as the ground begun to rumble, sending vibrations straight through his nervous system, a collision of sharp sounding howls echoed through the tree tops, ravaging every nook and corner of the puny forest, barely big enough to be called a park.
He stumbled forward, his heart lurching in his chest as he bounded across the surface, weaving in and out of the darkness surrounding itself, the wretched screams and cries of wolves turned by the moon rapidly approaching his figure.
There was no more time to contemplate his plan of action, his feet skid across the ground, itching to move as quickly as possible, the sound of weighted steps resonating through the branches as he continued forward, his teeth pressing down together as the pace begun to die out behind him.
Baekhyun found himself face first into a patch of grass, his behind pressed up in the air while slivers of thin weeds managed to saw themselves between his teeth, hair brushing across his forehead, blinking back the haze in his vision as he glanced around.
"I shifted." He barked out, pressing his fingertips into the ground, mud digging underneath his fingernails as he managed to shoved himself off the surface of the man-made construct.
A tingling littered across his skin, his eyes searching from left to right, frantically scanning his current location in order to map out his next move.
The trace of his fingers brushed back through his hair, shoving the fringe from his forehead irritatedly, his limbs crossing over each other in order to protect his reproductive organ hanging limp between his legs.
The soft breeze tickling his skin as a series of short grunts bounced from his lips.
"It's fucking freezing out here and I just had to get trigger happy and turn into some lunatic of a person." Baekhyun yelped, throwing his hands forward with a short exhale of exasperation, his body falling lifeless against the grass, laying back without much more of a fight.
"I don't care."
