in celebration of the end of promotions for their debut ‘bxtch’, mount records’ resident bad girls drop a clip for their album track ‘tonight’, as a git for their fans. as the song’s electronic dance vibes hearken back to earlier days of k-pop, the lyrics triumphantly boast brat’s desires to rise to the top of the game. the video centres around the track’s energetic choreography, whilst each girl is given differently themed sets for their solo shots. 

although ‘tonight’ concludes the end of brat’s debut era, it’s been rumoured that the girls went straight from wrapping up promotions to working on their next release.

following the release of their music video for the eponymous title track, brat have already dropped their debut mini album ‘bxtch’! featuring six tracks, the mini album revolves around themes of independence, bravado and female empowerment. so soon after release, the ep is already being noted online- in part thanks to the role the girls themselves played in it’s creation- leader lauren producing each song and the other girls all carrying song writing credits throughout the tracklist. 

from the adrenaline pumping rallying of the title track to ‘euphoria’s pulsing, western girl group inspired attitude to the infectious dance-pop track ‘tonight’, brat serve their freshman effort with a strong dose girl power and sex appeal. highlighting each track with tongue twisting raps and diva-like belted vocals, no time is wasted on holding back. but as the group wraps up the record with ballad ‘beautiful love’, their vulnerable side is hinted at- likely to be explored further in later releases. 

brat will hold their first showcase tomorrow evening, the live event to be broadcasted via their official v-live channel. they will be making their music show debut on the 27th, at mbc show champion.

just hours ahead of the release of their debut mini album bxtch, girl group brat have released the music video for their title track. the boastful, hard hitting track is certainly full of brattitude, as the ladies boastfully sing about their self confidence. ‘i am a bitch’ declares the chorus, unapologetically introducing brat as a group with no fear to go for the jugular.   the music video for bxtch alternates between the girls dancing, partying and preparing to go into battle. alongside the war-cry vibe of the track, both song and video serve as a promise to grab the industry by the throat and shake it.
