e-Forum Week 2

The second week of our e-Forum discussion is on the way and will concentrate on the topic of entrepreneurship and moderated by Jennifer Ehidiamen.

Jennifer Ehidiamen is a tech savvy journalist and entrepreneur. In 2013 she was a New Media Fellow for International Reporting Project and won the 2013 Innovative Young Journalist Award, by Journalists for Christ International Outreach, for the Innovative use of new media for indepth reporting. A graduate of mass communication from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Lagos, Jennifer is the author of three books, including the recently released “Half a Loaf and a Bakery: learning by doing before graduation” that targets out-of-school youths and undergraduates with information about volunteering, education and entrepreneurship.

e-Forum Week 1

The first week of our e-Forum discussion will concentrate on the topic of employment and will be moderated by Victor Gotevbe.

Victor Gotevbe is leading a credible network of young African professionals. He holds a degree in philosophy. Victor is a certified public Relations practitioner and an Associate member of Nigerian Institute of Management. He works with Vanguard Media Limited (publishers of the Vanguard newspapers) as the Administration/HR Manager. He is the principal partner of Conduit Consulting firm. Victor is also the Country director of YouthBank Nigeria, a Youth for Transparency International (YTI) initiative. He is YTI Chief Strategist and designated representative at the United Nations. Mr. Gotevbe is the Editor of Youthful Vibes, a Youth Column of the Vanguard Newspapers, serving as a platform for young Nigerians who are making a difference. Victor has received recognition from several organizations and has attended several events across the country and beyond the continent of Africa. In 2012, he received an international award -the African Achievers Award (United Kingdom) amongst several others. He is a very active member of Moral Rearmament/Initiatives of Change, Nigeria. Victor is a fellow of the African Institute of Governing with Integrity and a fellow of Crans Montana Forum.

April 1-7: Week ONE Discussion. Focus on Employment April 8-14: Week TWO Discussion. Focus on Entrepreneurship April 15-21: Week THREE Discussion. Focus on Education/Training and online Skills Acquisition. April 22: Application announcement for the empowerment packages: mini-grants, scholarships, mentoring, coaching, graphic design, free online courses, etc.
