Daredevil found that it was a lot easier to break the mental hold over people if he knew them. If he had the right words or the right actions to talk them out of their fog of rage, the process worked a lot faster. He didn’t know a lot of people here, so he wanted to focus on the people he knew who could help others from their groups.
That’s why he wanted to find Gamora as soon as possible. He made is way over the barren landscape to try and find any signs of the woman. It was the familiar sound of her sword that ultimately lead him to her.
He knew this conversation might be easier if he took off his helmet, but if he was going to potentially fight the most dangerous woman in the galaxy, he wanted all the armor he could get.
“Gamora?” he called out to her. He was breathing hard, and tried to keep any roughness out of his voice, not wanting to provoke her in case she was under the influence of the attack. He held out his empty hands to his side as he approached. “I know we haven’t met,” he lied, “but a lot of people need your help and I hear that’s what you do now. You help people. Can we work together?” he asked, hoping it would be a simple conversation.
