The ea support hold music is inspirational as fuck
so I've been sitting on ea customer support for about half an hour now, and I never thought you could get this tired of sims music
i was on hold for over an hour and when i finally get to an " EA expert" there's nothing they can do? even though when i got to other customer support they told me that this was a simple fix

you: I bought a used copy of Dragon Age: Origins, ultimate edition at gamestop today for PS3.
you: It installs a system update fine, and loads the install data fine, but as soon as it goes to install "Game Data" to the PS3 it jumps from 0% to 100% and stays there.
you: The disc is scratch free, and I also pulled it out after 2 failed install attemps and cleaned it.
you: Is this a common issue?? Is there a known fix? ):
you: The PS3 is also new, just a little over 2 months old.
Nehemiah: I see that you are having issues with regards to your game that skips the game data installation and just stays there. Let me assist you with this one.

you: It's a pre-owned game, purchased from Gamestop.

Nehemiah: The disk itself might be corrupted if this is the case and if the installation would require you to connect to the internet, you would have to have a new online pass for that one.
you: A new online pass?
Nehemiah: Yes, because if you would need to access the net it would ask you for one because the old online pass should be bound to another account already.
you: I haven't been prompted during install for any kind of passcode. Is this something I have to manually reassign?
you: Or is there no fix?
Nehemiah: I am sorry but I cannot be sure about this from my end. You might want to try if you can install the game using another disc.
you: So return/exhange my disc for a new one, if gamestop lets me?
Nehemiah: That would be best.
