I want to start off this presentation uh i mean review of The Sims 4: Cats and Dogs with a HUGE thank you to EA and especially to simgurudrake, or as I like to call her Amanda, thank you for giving non-youtuber simmers a chance! They’ve provided me an early access code which is how im doing this whole thing on a wednesday and not a friday. THESE ARE ALL MY OPINIONS AND DUMB PUNS and if i was being paid you would know ;)
Ok let’s get this dog show started...
i dont even know where to start this so ummm i gonna go with the basics:
this town..... is . so,.. nice take what you were expecting and times it by ten. no seriously. do it. do it right now. are you- ok good. every morning when i would take my dog on her morning walk, down to the beach and every so often there will be this gorgeous spot that you hope is interactive then you walk. right. over it. Windenberg has always been my favorite town but this may beat it. It gives you the feel of an open world without being an open world, if that makes sense. It’s a real breath of fresh air
I cannot imagine going back to world with no fur babies. For those who always felt that ts4 wasn’t a full game will finally shut up. You do not need control to feel like you have control of your pets! PLUS, they go out and do their own thing. They go down to the boardwalk meet up with some dogs, dig, get a present or two, and come home in time when you’ll want to play with them. They feel so real and fit right in.
Okay I know this section is about to be CAS but can i take a quick second to talk about the animations? every single new interaction feels so real. it’s exactly how you think it would look but better. because its the sims.
this is hands down the best CAS selection we’ve ever gotten. it’s past my favorite it’ll be your favorite. if you love layers, this pack is for you. for a more in depth cas experience my jenn got early access too and she covered it here
OVERALL. get it cuz we got overalls, this pack fits. it fits. it feels like the sims. this is what your childhood was made of. i have made so many memories that i can’t wait to share with you all leading up to the release 9/10
