“What was it really like to be Richard Nixon? Evan Thomas tackles this fascinating question by peeling back the layers of a man driven by a poignant mix of optimism and fear. The result is both insightful history and an astonishingly compelling psychological portrait.” —Walter Isaacson, author of Steve Jobs
ET: Well, on Ford, that was the one guy who was going to get confirmed. Nixon’s own choice would have been John Connally.

"The Sword of Moses" is a 13th or 14th century Hebrew book of magic, the text of which Moses Gaster first published, along with translation and commentaries, in 1896. Gaster himself thought the text to date from somewhere between the 4th and 11th centuries CE. The original manuscript, which was in his personal collection, is now in the British Library, MS Or. 10678. The Hebrew text, which starts at what would typically be the rear of the book in a non-Hebrew volume, has a frontispiece photograph of a page from the original manuscript.

The Seasonal Spankings collections originate from various events held throughout the year on Anastasia Vitsky’s blog. For each event, a number of authors write flash fiction where spanking is the central theme. I don’t write much in the way of kink/BDSM, but I have fun with these shorts.
