Darling Charming appreciation post
In the “Save Me Darling” episode, a white knight in shining armour saves the students of the Damsel in Distress class from a dragon.

Absolutely love the character of Darling Charming!
Darling is introduced as is a smart “A+ as usual” princess. And, from her biography on the Ever After High Website, her least favourite subject is “Damsel-in-Distressing” because “pretending to be helpless and in need of rescuing is such a fairy-fail.”
From this simple short, we see that Darling is observant and curious in finding the armour, brave and smart when fighting the dragon, and even modest and sneaky as she remains thankless and keeps her identity a secret.
Also, it’s good to note that women have been warriors and military commanders through history; just searching “historical female warriors” gives many lists of real-life heroines. The most famous, for example, is probably Joan of Arc - which, interestingly, if you mix her with Marie Antoinette then you get, in my opinion, Darling Charming.
