We have concluded a two days training for 30 farmers and community leaders in Luri. The training focused on kitchen gardening, seed Nursery bed preparation and vegetable garden best protection practices. The purpose of the training is to build their capacity through gardening innovation and to support them with vegetable seeds to allow them keep farming in their compounds. We recommend the use of sacks and containers if you live in an urban area with little space. ✅ it’s affordable ✅ Good for a small space ✅ it’s easy to manage ✅ you can practice in all seasons. We have also set up a demo farm in the area for the community members to take care of and learn from. We encourage everyone to participate in the #ZiraFiHila challenge so that we can kick out malnutrition and food insecurity in our community.
