eala 💗 — Someone they care about deeply

Eala cared most for Karlach. To the point that she was completely devastated by the result (or lack thereof) of the Gortash fight and it ruined their perception of trying so hard to be good. It was especially bad because it was after Wyll, who she adores, has to face the disappointment of Wyrm’s Crossing.

zilvurra 🙃 — A weird little habit they have

As a result of being hard of hearing in one ear, she will wiggle her head. She’s looks like she’d cocking her chin but she’s playing with balancing loud noise.

badb 💋 — How they show affection

Their clearest affection is shown with touch. They love to put their chin on Shadowheart’s head, they slung their arm over Karlach’s shoulder every chance they had after her upgrade, they gave Halsin 100000 hugs at the reunion, and were always the one to lend Gale a hand when the party had to climb. More subtly, they provide acts of service. They make sure every pack has rations for snacking if a proper break isn’t feasible, they grab every plant in view for medicine and elixirs anyone might need, and they were the one who hung back with Gale when his pain slowed his steps.

mahtab 🌧️ — What makes them cry

Don’t tell anyone but she’s a crybaby. She feels everything very intensely and is often overwhelmed. She’ll cry with fear, of happiness, at other people’s sadness, of hopefulness. The tears never last longer than a minute but they can start at the rolling of thunder or a heartfelt compliment.

26. The Zenosbound.

The Zenosbound forgoes her high repute,

The twenty-sixth (and final) character in my silly poem series is Eala of @cygnus-exul.

Another more recent discovery of mine, this blog is proof that sufficient skill and creativity can make even the most unlikely subject not only palatable, but completely engaging.

Beautiful (and occasionally very funny) screenshots and gpose work, fantastic writing and really thoughtful responses to asks and messages - it is apparent just how much work the writer has put into this blog. It merits much more attention and engagement and I recommend you peruse it at the earliest opportunity.

I am also very grateful to the writer for their advice on Carrd things and their patience with my general slowness on the proverbial uptake.

Apologies for the delay in getting this last silly poem done - Z proved to be an utter sod to make work in a poem and it's taken a week to cobble together something I didn't actively hate and that did justice to this fantastic blog.

Who (what) is Sauron in Rings of Power?

Sauron is a Maia, a lesser Ainu. The Ainur are beings of Ëala (incorporeal spirit). They create Fanar (physical manifestations) to house their Ëalar so that they can be physically present in Arda.

Sauron can create a fana in any form he wants to. (For all we know, Sauron has Galadriel locked in a box like Alastor Moody. Put THAT in your headcanon!). Fanar can be damaged or destroyed while the Ëala will simply wander off unharmed.

Who is he in Rings of Power? Halbrand? The Stranger? The Dweller? Adar? Disa? We don’t know. The one thing we do know is that Sauron has met Celebrimbor.

The Stranger - Sauron falls from the sky AFTER talking to Celebrimbor?

Halbrand - Sauron is almost eaten by a sea monster and floats away?

Adar - Sauron is all depressed about the sun going away?

The Dweller - Sauron is investigating the crater left behind by the Stranger?

Disa - Sauron helps the dwarves find Mithril, which can be used to make the Rings.

Hmm… which one makes the most sense? Disa!!! Then again, Disa did have two children, so that’s one hell of a long con. Maybe not.
