✿ -- Ciel
Tears brimmed Alice’s eyes. The boy she had come to know for so long, the one she had grown to love so very much, had asked to marry her. Happiness that Alice thought was impossible blossomed inside her, and her heart fluttered in her chest. Finally coming to realization, she nodded her head. “Of course I’ll marry you.” She smiled brightly and leaned in to press a soft kiss to her fiancee’s lips. Alice rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. “I’ll love you forever, Ciel Phantomhive.”
[Thank you for the follow c:]
Youre welcome :)
Ciel stared at his father, somehow he had a feeling his father would ask him that, though he wouldn't mind giving answers. "Mostly work, and trying to keep Elizabeth happy." He sighed, thinking of the last time she had visited.
♕– "I see," He nodded. "Well, as long as you remember to take time to relax every now and then. I know that work can be quite tedious and time consuming." Vincent then smiled, "Is there anything else you'd like to share?"
He nodded at his father's words, before sitting down on the couch. "Is there anything you wish talk about?" Ciel glanced up at him, his eye showing a bit of curiosity. Only someone who has known him for quite sometime would actually noticed it.
♕– "Hm…" Vincent hummed in thought, his chin being stroke slowly. "Well, how about you tell me what you have been up to lately? I am most interested in knowing," he promised with a smile.
Ciel cheeks turned a light pink. "I-it has seem that long.." He mumbled. A little embarrassed he had said that. He looked at his father waiting on him to ask someone to prepare them tea.
♕– "Well, I am here now, so need to worry. We can spend time together as father and son," Vincent said as he guided the boy to sit together on the couch before asking for tea.
"Father! Let's have tea. I haven't seen you in a long time." Ciel said, with a small smile.
♕– Vincent smiled at the sight of his son and nodded. "Of course, Ciel, though I have not been away for too long. Or is it that it seems like an eternity for you?" he asked with a chuckle, ruffling the boy's hair.
"Ah, is that so?" Ciel's face relaxed, putting on straight face, he crossed his arms. "Suppose, I did not wish to take over your so called business." Saying such a thing, he took a risk, but he wanted to see how his father would handle such news from his own son. It would either be an interesting outcome or a rather predictable one.
The feelings of unwillingness was only natural when your family was hellish as the Phantomhive’s. Hearing the question made Vincent laugh with nostalgia. How long ago was it when he considered not following along with his family’s duties? It seemed like a century away.
”You still have a long time to consider these things, Ciel, and at your age it’s expected that you’d hesitate.” the count said with a cruel precision reeking statistics and sureness. It pretended to care, but a vileness coated his words. “Later your mind will be changed.”
