“Vivisection Bunny”
by Brittany Campo
This is a sci-fi force fit I did for the words “Nervous Ill Rabbit”. It was really fun. This is a character of mine named Winona in a story I have been working on for a while. You might recognized her in my heading illustration (also by me).
A little back ground on Winona: She is from a sci-fi retelling of mine of witch trials. Long story short, she is a witch that was captured tried and found guilty. In this weird version of the world I concocted, if guilty for a crime you are morphed in a way that reflects your “crime”. For Winona this was simply being a witch, or being accused of being a witch and found guilty- where she lives is based off of England. In some parts of the UK, historically hares or rabbits are symbols of witches- so she was made through surgery to be mutated rabbit headed woman. Here she is shown escaping. I guess I have a theme for people escaping?
