It achieved success in many European countries, such as Spain, Germany, the UK and Austria in 1989 and 1990, peaking at number five on the UK Singles Chart in March 1990, and has been featured on numerous dance compilations from 1990 to the present day. The song was sampled in the 2022 single "Trompeta" by Willy William.
