     Natasha had A Spot at the coffeeshop down the street from where she lived, one of the few places outside S.H.I.E.L.D. and Avengers’ territory that she found herself gravitating to in her free time. It gave her a secluded place that also had perfect views for people-watching and cloud-watching, depending on her mood, and served up some of the best coffee in the area. She was set.

     It was people-watching that she was doing today, when Lance Tucker walked into the establishment, and her eyebrows rose. Almost under her breath, she murmured, “oh hello, you look familiar...”

john sees gifsets of lance doing That Face and he just??? ceases to know how to function??? and it’s the funniest thing ever to me but in a weird way he Wants to stroke his ego okay even though lance doesn’t Need it he’s just like “i’m glad i made you feel good about yourself”

That was CLOSE, too close.

He hates these assholes who so readily endanger civilians in their fucking turf wars, and Jason was not letting anyone innocent die on his watch tonight. Hearing the man’s question, he allowed a slight smirk to curl on his lips - he’s only wearing a red domino mask tonight, his helmet needs repairing - and answered, “ Welcome to Gotham. ” No one who was NATIVE to the gloomy, crime-ridden city in New Jersey would be asking such a question, in most parts of town this was the norm. It doesn’t take long before the fuckers reload, and the raven-haired man looked around quickly. No where to run. 

“ Hold on tight, ” It was the only warning he gave before he picked the athlete up one-handed, threw him over his shoulder, and shot a grapple up into the concrete of the building above, bullets trailing after them as they’re PULLED into the air, and he hopped the ledge to the relative safety of the rooftop. “ Motherfuckers, ” he hissed in annoyance, setting his new buddy down on the floor of the roof. “ If you know how to fire a gun, great, if not, stay behind me and keep your head down if you like your skull in one piece.” He warned, sweat beading on his brow as he reloaded his twin Berettas.
